MANILA, Philippines–Jill’s has been known as one of the pioneers in the Fort bar scene in Taguig. It was a “second home” for many who sought relaxation and entertainment.
But despite its popularity amongst bar goers, like any other brand that reaches maturity, it inevitably came to a point where its popularity and novelty reached its saturation point in addition to the advent of new establishments in the surrounding areas.
Management saw the need for change, and the better part of the story is that, they were up for it.
To reinvent Jill’s, two key players were instrumental in the equation: Nino Reyes of FEU and Luigi Nunez of Beer Below Zero (BBZ). They say, it is thanks to the powerful and lethal combination of these experts that Jill’s is now slowly getting back to its glory days.
Change
The Jill’s team saw a big change in its organization when Reyes and Nunez came in.
Reyes, being a very successful businessman in his own right, injected a lot of adjustments within the operating system of Jill’s.
Nunez on the other hand who looks after the global business of BBZ reinforced the operations with tons of marketing ideas.
Jill’s and BBZ
Among Nunez’s efforts to revive Jill’s is the incorporation of BBZ in the daily operations of the hangout.
Beer Below Zero is a Filipino-owned company that offers an innovative refrigeration technology used to chill beers below the -8 degrees Celsius freezing point.
This brand new Jill’s experience caused droves of guests to march back to the old familiar place they call home.
Jill’s beer sales spiked mainly because of the proprietary BBZ promos such as Crazy Hour (P9.00 per beer), UNLI-BEER (P500.00 unlimited beer from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., from Monday to Saturday), Buy 2 Take Juan (Buy 2 get 1 free beer, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., from Monday to Saturday), and Beer-it Nights (an open mic night).
Back on track
Besides its revived night life fun and crowd, Jill’s also boasts being a highly preferred venue for exclusive functions. According to Reyes, Jill’s already has bookings until December.
Nunez added that Jill’s is now the official showcase outlet of BBZ in the Philippines.
