Men in masks, nighttime activities, all-around debauchery—all are the makings of a Halloween night well-spent. They also happen to be the recipe for potential crimes against women. In a previous installment for the Preen Supernatural series, we asked six women to share the scariest things that have happened to them.
From peeping Toms-slash-potential rapists, a Tinder date gone wrong, and an obsessive stalker fan, these women proved that the most frightening things that could happen to them don’t have anything to do with ghouls and monsters—it’s the creeps in real life they should be wary of.
Not anymore. Four young models are taking back the potential for scares this Halloween by being dangers themselves. This weekend, as the parties rage on, you better hope and pray you don’t run into Preen’s Scream Queens Katarina Rodriguez, Arianna Cowper, Paulina Alberto, Lexi Mendiola.
You won’t be in for a treat, that’s for sure.

What are you doing for Halloween?
At the moment I’m debating between party hopping or staying home and watching Hitchcock films with my lolo.
Who are you going out with for Halloween?
If I do go out I’ll mostly be with Paulina and meet up with Lexi and Arianna!
Who are you hoping to avoid?
No one in particular but a night without seeing an ex would be pretty smooth. (Laughs)
What’s your costume?
I’m thinking a very creepy porcelain doll.
If nobody could recognize you in your costume, what would you do?
SCARE EVERYONE!
What would make you want to kill someone, figuratively speaking?
If they lied to me, betrayed me, or flirted with my boyfriend! (Laughs)
When was the last time you felt like killing someone?
It’s been awhile actually maybe while I was in the model house in Asia’s Next Top Model when Janice Hermijanto tested my patience.
Are you normally the type to react violently?
Let’s just say it takes A LOT to make me mad. But when I do its scary.
If you were a serial killer, what would be your signature (i.e. the mark you leave on your victims)?
Hmmmm…Maybe Samurai sword through their heart. Or ninja stars!

What are you doing for Halloween?
As of now, I’m most likely going to go out and meet up with a few friends. Or I could also end up going out of town…nothing is set in stone!
Who are you going out with for Halloween?
With a bunch of my friends, but it would be extra fun if I bump into Katarina, Pau, and a few others. Funny thing is, every Halloween I always end up being with Arianna at the end of all the madness!
Who are you hoping to avoid?
Nobody in particular!
What’s your costume?
I haven’t gotten around it. If we find the right props, it would be funny if I end up being Khloé (complete with derrière), and my boyfriend would be a fast-recovering Llamar…too soon?
If nobody could recognize you in your costume, what would you do?
I don’t know, try to switch to Rob Kardashian and [ruin] sock collection? Lol!
What would make you want to kill someone, figuratively speaking?
Insanely rude people, or people who think they’re the shit.
When was the last time you felt like killing someone?
Just a few hours ago, actually. Just kidding! It’s been pretty chill recently.
Are you normally the type to react violently?
If I’m already completely furious, over the edge…I tend to get really violent—with words.
If you were a serial killer, what would be your signature?
A sliced little heart on their wrists.

What are you doing for Halloween?
Going to an annual Halloween party thrown by a friend.
Who are you going out with for Halloween?
My boyfriend and my friends, then we usually just see all our other friends and the different circles at the party.
Who are you hoping to avoid?
(Laughs) A few girls that ruin my vibe but I mean, it’s inevitable and there’s normally no drama anyway, so it’s cool.
What’s your costume?
Bonnie and my boyfriend is Clyde.
If nobody could recognize you in your costume, what would you do?
Do pranks maybe. (Laughs)
What would make you want to kill someone, figuratively speaking?
Someone who flirts with my boyfriend! And someone who’s super rude and disrespectful or gets on my last nerves.
When was the last time you felt like killing someone?
Um, let’s just say recently. Some people who are just [so] horrible that I wish were gone!
Are you normally the type to react violently?
Yeah, a lot of times my temper blows up. I have no patience for a lot of things, but at the same time if it isn’t worth my time and effort, I just let it slide.
If you were a serial killer, what would be your signature?
I don’t know. Maybe a crime scene that looked staged, it would be different each time, to make you wonder what really happened.

What are you doing for Halloween?
No solid plans yet. There are so many things going on for Halloween around Manila!
Who are you going out with for Halloween?
Most probably my friends. (Hey, Katarina! And as Katarina said, maybe Yanna and Lexi too! )
Who are you hoping to avoid?
Anyone who isn’t in a festive mood!
What’s your costume?
I’m still pretty undecided. But, right now, being the puking rainbow Snapchat filter is on top of my list. (Laughs)
If nobody could recognize you in your costume, what would you do?
Oh, what wouldn’t I do if no one could recognize me? The possibilities are endless!
What would make you want to kill someone, figuratively speaking?
Hmmm…Probably if that person did something terribly wrong to me, my family, or friends. Or, for self defense.
When was the last time you felt like killing someone?
I actually don’t remember!
Are you normally the type to react violently?
Not at all. I’m more of the “keep it to myself and be emotional” type. (Laughs)
If you were a serial killer, what would be your signature?
My signature would probably be an X on the forehead. Oh, or a heart/star-shaped mark on the face or wrists! (Laughs)
