The formal awarding ceremony marking the BDWP’s 11th year will be on Sept. 24 at the Rizal Ballroom of Makati Shangri-La.

Marian seminar
The Filipino family’s struggles to keep itself strong amid challenges will be the focal point of the Marian Encounter seminar on Aug. 31, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Tan Yan Kee Student Center, University of Santo Tomas.
Topics include “Mary and the Holy Family” to be discussed by Fr. Quirico Pedragosa Jr., OP, of the UST Central Seminary; “Family Consecration and Total Consecration of One’s Self to Mary” and the “Culture of Life and Death” that covers divorce, euthanasia, abortion and total population control by Fr. Omer Prieto, parish priest of the Holy Family parish in Project 8, QC.
Fr. Louie Coronel, OP, will celebrate holy Mass.
