Fila Ducati partners with local motorcycle club to fete distributor

THE CELEBRATOR with the Fila endorsers:Wesley Pereira, Jessica Kienle, Fabio Ide
FILA chair Butch Albert with his wife Cris Albert

At The Fort, recently, two exciting brands met for a fun fab night. Fila Ducati and ATAT Motorycle Club teamed up and launched the racing season which coincided with the birthday of gorgeous fashion plate and working woman of substance, adorable Cris Albert.

A super masculine vibe filled the hip Jill’s Bar, palangga, when ATAT’s top riders on Fila Ducati speedy bikes made their way into the outdoor and indoor venue, causing screams of delight and sighs from the women invitees— natch!— that included a flamboyant mix of celebrities, athletes and businessmen.

Present were Fabio Ide, my palangga Pops Fernandez, Jake Letts, amiable Harry Morris, Katarina Rodriguez, my cousin Sari Yap, Ana Abierra, low-profile Rep. Ronald Singson, talented makeup artist and hairstylist Patrick Rosas who just breezed in from New York, the Philippine Volcanoes, Jess Kienle, popular woman for beauty Dr. Aivee Teo, Charina Sarte, and the list goes on and on, dahlings.

The event kicked off with the introduction of the ATAT team officers: newly elected president Elmer Pabale, vice president Richard Panlilio, VP for external Paolo Alabado, secretary Myke Torres, treasurer Jay Carreon and Lester Codog, owner of Foilacar as well as the group’s manager.

Naturellement, when Cris A. throws a smashing party, the booze is overflowing. This was matched with succulent crispy pata, mozzarella sticks, squid and shrimp gambas, nachos, sisig, pineapple Sriracha wings, Hungarian sausage and chili fries, yum-yummy, palangga.

Our favorite alchemist Ralph Joseph of Ralph Wines himself made sure we got our vodkas straight and my drink of the hour, tequila!

The highlight was the arrival of our favorite CEO in her gorgeous Chanel outfit. Cris took her place casually and confidently in a pool of fantastic hunks singing “Happy Birthday.”

POPS Fernandez, Cris A., Ana Abierra

In true gentleman’s style, business tycoon and polo player Fila chair Butch Albert and wife Cris A. made sure gifts were given away, including Fila shoes, Technomarine watches, P100,000 worth of Foil A Car service and 120 bottles of vodka from Ralphs Wines and Spirits. Now, dahlings, if that didn’t give a total buzz, nothing will.

And how did this awesome night end? Well, with no other than Pops Fernandez serenading our beauty celebrator.

Cheers, palangga, to a great partnership and an even greater lady, our queen for a day, Cris Albert!

Pre-holiday collection from Charina Sarte

It was a big night in our town, simply because that adorable woman with vision on what women should have in their wardrobe, creative head-turner Charina Sarte, did it again, dahlings.

This fashion designer, known for timeless pieces that strike the perfect balance between what’s sexy and elegant, launched her Pre-Holiday 2014 Collection to a full house, palangga.

The trunk show, with a special birthday sale featuring big discounts, was held in her chi-chi eponymous boutique on the second floor of the high-end Greenbelt 5 ( tel. 7202613), no less.

Right off the bat, one can tell it’s her trademark draping that’s prominent in her latest collection. “I wanted to reestablish my brand’s aesthetic,” Sarte said.

Hey, dahlings, but going back to the familiar doesn’t mean she ain’t moving forward with her stylish look.

“I worked with new material, like leather and techno Spandex which fits like a glove,” she explained. “This collection is done in head-turning jewel tones, while others are in  classic black and white.”

RUFFA Gutierrez, Charmaine Palermo

Luxurious minaudières from Gabriel Martel completed the looks.

“This collection is more grown-up compared to what I’ve done. I envision that the woman of today wearing my clothes is definitely on the top of her game—running her empire and taking the world head on.” Wow! You bet, go for it gal! Almost the whole collection was bought and orders poured in like a flash flood, palangga.

By afternoon, attractive models and DJ-ing duo Ornusa Cadness and Sanya Smith of The Zombettes started pumping up the invitees for the post-show bash.

Statuesque miss with 4B’s, eye-catching Trish Panlilio of nawwTy’s Kitchen (nawwtyskitchen@gmail.com) served up her delectable, heavy finger food canapés paired with great cocktails.
