It’s always good to keep an eye out for what’s new, and to be aware of what the trends are. This season’s newest finds are definitely interesting. Read on; we even tried some out for you to see.

The Face Shop’s Cushion Screen Cell Foundation:   This is the world’s first screen cell foundation. This cushion foundation comes in a convenient compact that has a fine screen cell that separates the foundation from the sponge.

What happens is, you get just the right amount of product by pressing the sponge into the screen cell, and you apply it straight onto your face. It also has SPF 50, which is perfect for antiaging benefits. Also, the screen cell is 99.9 percent  antibacterial, so if you’re prone to breakouts, you won’t have to worry about using it.

FOR this look, we used Tony Moly Crystal blusher and L’Oreal Star by Color Riche nude shade for the lips.

The finish is dewy, and to add more coverage, all you need to do is apply more. This product is perfect for people on the go who just want that bright, natural look with all the skin benefits. It smells citrusy, too.

L’Oreal Paris Collection Star by Color Riche: A collection of five shades of nude lippies especially suited for Filipino women of different skintones.  Filipino women love the concept of the perfect nude lip: a lip color that’s so perfectly matched to your skin yet alluring, giving you the most refined look.

Each shade is named after the collection’s beauty ambassadors—Doutzen Kroes, Jennifer Lopez, Fan Bingbing, Gong Li and Sonam Kapoor. If you’re feeling a little “J.Lo” today, pick upher shade.

Etude Play 101 Pencil: One can have a lot of fun using these pencils, as they can be used for the eyes, lips or cheeks. There are 50 colors to choose from, and they come in four different textures: creamy, matte, glossy and shimmery. Creamy and matte textures are used as eyeshadow, shadow base, concealer and eyebrow. Glossy textures, on the other hand, are used as blusher and lipstick.

The shimmery texture provides a soft glittery finish that is a staple in Korean makeup trends. Each pencil serves a multifunction purpose and is a convenient makeup tool, for both makeup connoisseurs and beginners. Each pencil is made from waterproof polymer, which makes the color stay all day long, but can be removed instantly when washed with your favorite cleanser.

Tony Moly: This season, Tony Moly highlights its award-winning products from “Get it Beauty,” the number one beauty show in South Korea. There are segments of the show that include the Blind Test, where the reviewers test products under the same category. The catch, however, is that products are placed in a generic container, so viewers are unable to identify the brand upon testing.

These babies made it to the top: Tony Moly Crystal Blusher 07-Bronzing Brown, a bronzer best used for contouring; Tony Moly Luminous Goddess Aura BB Cream, a skintone-correcting foundation with a light, natural coverage; Tony Moly Floria Whitening Capsule Essence, which whitens and provides enough moisture, so it does not dry the skin out; and Tony Moly Egg Pore Silky Smooth Balm, a balm primer used before applying foundation. These products won a Blind Test award. They get an award from me, too. Definitely must-haves.
