Fresh look, new merchandise at Kultura

THE NEW Kultura store at SM Makati features a warmer RESORT basics accessorized with pops of color at the new ambiance and specialized lighting to highlight all products.
KULTURA has the widest assortment of classic and modern Filipiniana. The store’s new design has multiple textures that add charm and character to the store.

The redefined look of Kultura Filipino store at SM Makati has strengthened its DNA as a source of everything uniquely Filipino.

The 1,200 sqm store’s modern interiors and special lighting capture the philosophy behind Kultura’s merchandise. A mix of metal and wood in earth tones is used judiciously.

“We wanted a warm, friendly, approachable ambiance,” says Kultura’s architect and light director Mark Wilson.

The lighting directs the eye to the merchandise—Fashion, Home, Souvenir, Crafts for a Cause, and Delicacies.

“Kultura’s new design elements revolve around lighting, primarily the low-wattage LED  for accenting the merchandising,” Wilson said.

“Our design theme was one of ‘focal glow’ or creating pools of light around tables, or groupings of merchandise,” he added, “unlike in the past, when Kultura stores were lit uniformly.”
