Glory Abueva will hold hold her solo exhibit, “Different Strokes,” Sept. 16-30 at RCBC Plaza’s Yuchengco Museum in Makati City.
A civil engineering degree-holder from Silliman University in Dumaguete City, Abueva has had a career with DMCI construction company. She became a full-time painter in 1994.
Her works are characterized by brilliant colors and a positive vibe. The artist said her works “give glory to God.”
Her works have been collected by the Consunjis of DMCI. She has works at the National Museum and the University of the Philippines Faura Museum. She has won a Philippine Arts Award.
She has a showroom in Dumaguete called GATXS (6 San Juan St., Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, near the boulevard).
