Last year, Unilever, the personal care company, organized #TeenWeekPH, a youth development program aimed at empowering future-ready teens.
According to Unilever researchers, the program, which reached about 70 percent of the Filipino teen population, improved the personal care and hygiene habits of its participants. For this, the program was cited by the Anvil Awards, Tambuli Awards and Asian Marketing Effectiveness Awards.
This year, #TeenweekPH will visit at least 250 high schools nationwide.
Young celebrities Julia Barretto, Elmo Magalona, Coleen Garcia, Chris Tiu, Phil and James Younghusband, Jeron Teng, Andre Paras, Enrique Gil, Laureen Uy and “Pinoy Big Brother” Teen edition stars will attend the #TeenWeekPH kickoff.
Topics to be discussed are: #MoveUpMonday (the physical and emotional changes that adolescence brings); #TransformTuesday (beauty and self-esteem); #WorkItWednesday (building self-confidence and honing one’s talents for the future); #ThinkBigThursday (pursuing one’s passion and aspiration); and #FutureFriday (forging lasting friendships and building relationships).
