Dont Blame The Kids’ “Telefuture – Delivery 1” Collection is a nostalgia trip

Nostalgia is a powerful thing. One could argue that everything we see today has been backed by their history. Tracing those respective lines of history is one thing, but one can also build on what the past has left.

This is what Dont Blame The Kids‘ latest collection attempts to do. Named “Telefuture – Delivery 1” the collection features familiar prints and styles in a new light. “In this release, we bring you not only our own revolution and contribution streetwear scene, but also a message for us to look back and pay our respects to those who paved the way,” DBTK announces in their press release. From their own take on the IKEA logo to their re-imagining of the Hawaiian shirt, it feels like the familiar merges with the nostalgic, which is how the past kind of plays out, when you think about it.
