1stCCPNatlBalletCompetition2014MANILA, Philippines—The Cultural Center of the Philippines is pleased to announce the finalists of the 1st CCP National Ballet Competition 2014 which will be held at 6 p.m. at the Tanghalang Aurelio Tolentino (CCP Little Theater) on November 6 for the Junior Category Competition and on November 8 for the Senior Category Competition.

 

The finalists of the Junior Category Competition (13 years old to 18 years old by/on November 4) are as follows:

The finalists of the Senior Category Competition (18 years old +1 day to 25 years old by/on November 4, 2014) are as follows:

A jury of five (5) adjudicators—four (4) Filipinos known in the field, and one (1) from the Asian region will evaluate the Competition. Awards at stake are P35,000 for the first, P25,000 for the second, and P15,000 for the third prizes in each of the categories. The Trudl Dubsky Award will also be given for the best choreography.
