Pixy is a Japanese-formulated and Indonesian-manufactured cosmetic line that caters to Asian beauties. Quality, affordability and style made it the No. 1 makeup brand in Indonesia.
Its specialty is base makeup, which goes with the trend nowadays of luminous skin. So, if you’re a newbie to makeup and looking for a good brand that’s inexpensive and stylish at the same time, look no further. We’ve been given the privilege to try Pixy’s products and here are some of the looks you can try.
Let’s start off with daytime makeup. On Jasmin we put UV Whitening Perfect Fit, a two-way cake foundation. Although you can use it wet, this time, we made it dry to create a more natural, glowing look. For eye shadow, Pixy has duos for highlighting and contouring.
On Jasmin, we used Sorrel Brown, light on the lids and dark to line under the eyes; curled lashes and applied one coat of Pixy Waterproof Mascara; topped off with Pixy Silky Fit in Pinkish Peach, which has a satin finish.
On Rian, we started with Pixy’s Whitening compact powder with SPF 20, good for daytime. For blush we applied Pixy’s Passion Roses on the apple of the cheeks and finished off with Pixy’s Lasting Matte Lipstick in Be In Love.
We also used Pixy’s Whitening Perfect Matte, a two-way cake foundation, paired with Pixy’s Carnation Bloom Blush, which had the right amount of shimmer for a natural look. And then we finished with Pixy’s nude lipstick.
Daytime to nighttime
You can easily go from daytime to nighttime just by changing the lip color. That’s what we did with Jasmin via Pixy’s Ultimate Makeup Cake and two coats of Pixy Volumizing Waterproof Mascara.
Blush was Pixy’s Brown Tea, starting from just below the temples towards the side of the lips, using it more as a contour.
Finished off with my personal favorite, Pixy’s Silky Fit Lipstick in Cinnamon Twist with its Semi Matte finish.
Pixy is available at Watsons and SM Store beauty sections.
