Cathay Pacific Airways has opened The Bridge, the airline’s sixth passenger lounge at the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA).

The new 2,567-square-meter lounge is on Level 5 of the West Concourse near Gate 35. Cathay Pacific commissioned world-renowned architectural firm Foster + Partners to design The Bridge.

Cathay Pacific has come a long way since it opened its first lounge, The Wing, in 1998. In 2001, The Pier was introduced, followed by The Arrival in 2008, and The Cabin in 2010. Together with Dragonair’s G16 lounge, the Cathay Pacific Group now operates a total of six lounges at HKIA.
