To celebrate Taal Vista Hotel’s diamond anniversary, celebrity guest chefs will serve at the Café Veranda their unique take on Filipino cuisine.
On Nov. 15-16 and Nov. 22-23, chef couple Rolando and Jackie Laudico create an imaginative buffet spread that includes Tuna Kilawin with Maritangtang Calamansi Emulsion and Pickled Labanos, and Lumpiang Chorizo and Ubod Cones with frozen spicy vinegar as appetizers.
A varied main course selection includes Spicy Crab Sotanghon with Taba ng Talangka Sauce, Steamed Fish and Shrimp Mousse Wrapped in Mustasa Greens in Garlic Buro Sauce and Slow-roasted Angus Beef Belly Kare-kare.
Chef Jackie has mouth-watering desserts—Suman Panna Cotta Rice Cake with Latik and Fresh Mangoes, Halo-halo Shooters with Carabao’s Milk Sorbet, Tsokolate Oh! with Peanut Butter Mousse and Maja Blanca Cheesecake.
Lunch buffet will be from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, and dinner buffet will be from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturdays.
