The Philippine Hospital Association, with the Arts Gallery Asia (AGA), will stage a special exhibition of outstanding works of Filipino masters and contemporary visual artists, Nov. 19- 21, at 2/L, SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia (MOA), Macapagal Ave., Pasay City.

 

“Visual Poetry” is one of the highlights of the Philippine Hospital Association Convention simultaneously being held at the 2nd level of the SMX Convention Center.

 

This art exhibition features the selected works of some Filipino masters Arturo Luz, Ricarte Puruganan, Ed Castrillo, Ramon Orlina, Raul Isidro, Norma Belleza, Tam Austria, Rey Paz Contreras, Fred Baldemor, and Manny Baldemor.

 

Show also features the works of contemporary artists Elmer Borlongan, Eric Cacheco, Omi Reyes and Victor Puruganan.

Bhong Versoza of Art Gallery Asia said that the various paintings and sculptures with their interesting colors and subjects, were “like poetic verses done in visual aesthetic representations”: thus the title of the exhibit.

 

Versoza said the exhibits he organized assist socio-civic organizations which wee the beneficiaries of the shows.

 

Part of the proceeds of the sale of “Visual Poetry,” Versoza said, will go to the Philippine Hospital Association.

 

Alma Jimenez association said the public is invited to view the exhibit and support the “worthy undertaking.”

 

Admission is free. Exhibit hours are 9 a.m.-8 p.m.
