So when Jinkee Pacquiao was asked how she managed to win her boxing-champ husband’s undivided attention and adoration, she answered: “I say, don’t get mad, get beautiful! Beauty is power.”
Formerly camera- and media-shy beauty Jinkee now exudes strength and confidence that one notices right away, dahlings. During lunch at Red Makati Shangri-La, she was formally launched as the new face of Belo Nutraceuticals, Belo’s glutathione pill that is infused with that miracle anti-aging collagen, dahlings.
Dr. Vicki Belo said, “It’s not enough to be white, our skin also has to be tight,” followed by Jinkee, who said, “My new glow and fearlessness, thanks to Belo Nutraceuticals, not only whitens my skin but also lifts skin from within, revealing a glowing, tighter and younger-looking skin.”
That miracle southerner Jojie Dingcong’s team headed the organizing, and favorite florist Robert Blancaflor did the floral styling, as always, palanggas, for that signature “B”
Après Dr. Belo lectured on the facts about Belo Nutraceuticals’ active ingredients, glutathione and collagen, 10 lucky invitees won, take note, Manny- and Jinkee Pacquiao-signed boxing gloves, along with Belo Nutraceuticals products which everyone was hoping to win, palanggas.
Adorable, vivacious and beauty of substance Dr. Belo, the world-class beauty expert, is in winning form again as she presents another world-class product created by her genius! Yes, totally, dahlings, she’s amazing!
Miladay’s cherished gems
Welcoming them were my adorable, all gorgeous “cousins,” the Dayrit’s second-generation jewelers, Mark Dayrit, Jaqui D. Boncan, Michelle D. Soliven, Christine Dayrit, and Yvonne D. Romualdez, no less, dahlings.
“The jewelry business started by our parents, Ting and Mila Dayrit, has retained its brilliance because we celebrate life and love. And early on we were taught that the most valuable and cherished gems are family and friends,” vivacious Michelle S., president of Miladay, told us, while nibbling on the excellent finger food catered by the talented Chef Jessie Sincioco with wines from Ralph Wines, natch.
The Dayrits have always shared their blessing, and for this Miladay event it went to the Divine Healer Academy, a school for underprivileged but deserving students in elementary and high school in Cabid-an, Sorsogon.
Longtime Miladay client and actress Vina Morales was the special guest of honor.

A different Hermès launch
When sooo many launches and events happening every week with the same la-di-da hype to get their invitees to show up, Hermès pulled another first when they presented their
Après a lunch invitation at the Sala Bistro, it was time to watch the film at Ayala’s MyCinema to discover the ateliers, while the film’s directors shone a light on the men and women who bring the Parisian house’s objects to life. From Paris to the Ardennes, from the Lyonnais to Lorraine, they opened for us viewers the workshops of the saddler, the leather craftsperson, the crystal and glass-maker, the jeweler.
“Both Isabelle and Frédéric have captured the sounds of leather and crystal, the song of silk and metal, the words of the men and women and also their silences,” declared Hermès in a statement. “In their cinematic testimonial they brought together sparks of life; enthusiasm; pride and passion; with the craftsperson assembling a handbag, or a piece of jewelry, meticulously, with passion and respect, in the quest for excellence.”
The documentary ended with a brief history of Isabelle Dupuy-Chavanat and Frédéric Laffont. Then the women, 99.9 percent of them proudly carrying their awesome expensive handbags paid for by their husbands who must have shed a tear when they saw the price tags, strolled over to the Hermès Shop on Greenbelt 3 for cocktails and more boozing of champagne, natch!
Naturellement, beaming with pride over this awesome, different happening was Hermès’ brain Mario Katigbak, but who else, n’est ce pas?
