MANILA, Philippines–The Philippines’ candidate to the Miss World 2014 competition in London, Valerie Weigmann, made it to the quarterfinals late Sunday (almost 12 midnight, Philippine time).
Other candidates chosen included those from Bolivia, Brazil, China, Dominican Republic, England, Mexico, Guyana, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Sudan, Vietnam, Finland, Ghana, Kenya, Netherlands, Australia, Russia, Scotland, South Africa, Sweden, Trinidad & Tobago and the United States.
