Crispy Pata, Pritchon, Tinolang Cavite Paella, among dishes by Batali-trained chef this weekend

Taal Vista Hotel will present New York-trained chef Jayme Natividad doing an array of international and Filipino dishes on Dec. 20-21 at Café Veranda.

Lunch buffet will be from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays; dinner buffet will be from 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturdays.

Chef Jayme earned an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts at the International Culinary Academy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He spent a decade working in top New York restaurants and was mentored by world-renowned chef Mario Batali.

Signature dishes

Chef Jayme’s signature dishes include assorted appetizers Hummus, Baba Ghanoush, Tabbouleh, Olive Tapenade, Marinated Fish and Crumbled Laguna Cheese, Tuna and Tanigue Ceviche with Pomelo and Mint, and Goat Cheese Caesar Salad.

The main courses are Roast Leg of Lamb, Crispy Pata, Pritchon, Seafood en Papillote, Moroccan Chicken, Shrimp with Romesco and Tinolang Cavite Paella.

Chef Jayme will also prepare innovative desserts such as Olive Oil Gelato, Caramel Fudge Panna Cotta and Cannoli with Ube Ricotta and Langka Cream.
