MANILA, Philippines — Ever wondered how our nation manages to withstand every trial that comes its way despite being a developing country? Here’s the secret. It is the core values and outstanding traits that are innate within us that enable us to overcome even the toughest of problems.
The Filipino people see the good in challenges because we are by nature mapagpasalamat (grateful), matatag (resilient), masigasig (hardworking), mapagmalasakit (compassionate), and magalang (respectful).
And these days, even though many of us have seemingly lost these values in the process, they still showed when the strongest typhoon to hit landfall ravaged our southern region.
Now this 2015, if we strive harder to apply these values in our daily lives, can you just imagine how better of a place our country would be? Krem-Top believes that if we revive these traits within us, everyone can change for the better and we can come out as a stronger nation in the years to come.
Let us accept the challenge of changing for the better. This 2015, let us all be Bida Changers!
