MANILA, Philippines — Tourists from all over the country trooped to this city over the weekend and filled its main thoroughfares to witness the Street Dancing Competition and the Grand Float Parade, two of the Panagbenga Festival’s crowd-drawers.
Sixteen floats of various designs made with colorful flowers were presented and 19 participating sets of dancers performed, much to the delight of the festival’s revelers.
The theme of this year’s Panagbenga is “Across 20 Years of Blossoming Together.”

It draws two million tourists every year and celebrates the “history, traditions and values of Baguio and the Cordilleras. AJH
