Zaldy Pingol and Vily Syson are the featured artists this March at Chef Jessie Rockwell Club.
The joint exhibit “Dance of Colors” features Syson’s modern art, abstract, collages and embossed still life. Pingol’s pieces deal with flowers, fish, forest landscapes, portraits and abstract using acrylic, oil, palette knife and embossing.
Syson honed her craft by attending art workshops at the University of California in Los Angeles.
Pingol has been dabbling in art since the mid-’90s and has had a number of exhibits and awards under his belt. He is a member of the Art Association of the Philippines and Luntiang Daigdig Artist Group. Both artists consider Benigno Religioso of De La Salle University as their mentor.
