Don’t be fooled—it may have been a decade known for its loud colors and flashy styles, but he managed to achieve the complete opposite.
His pieces showed a lot of exaggerated detail, but in the cleanest, most subtle way possible: white topstitching, oversized outerwear and giant buttons, to name a few.
Lam took on the most sumptuous materials to accent his creations, with models decked out in wool, patent leather, supple suede and fine calf hair.
In this collection, his usual aesthetic—clean, comforting and luxurious—was translated in masterful color combinations of the warmest and deepest colors.
Accompanied by an on-the-go feel, with feminine and masculine features, the result is almost athletic.
