Easter centerpieces

Easter decor
Quail eggs with their dappled exterior make for a “natural” Easter centerpiece.

Easter is the first important family gathering of the year. For the kids, it’s the traditional Easter egg hunt that excites them. Suffice it to say that the egg reigns supreme when it comes to Easter decor and activity.

Here’s an easy and delicious way to start off your Easter table with hardly any dent on your pocketbook—boiled quail eggs, served with rock salt and sprinkled with fresh rosemary. You can skip your usual flower centerpiece because these are pretty enough to look at!

You will need
Boiled quail eggs
Little cut flowers you can pick in your garden. You may also use sprigs of rosemary or another fragrant herb
Rock salt
Few pieces fresh rosemary
Egg cup with small saucer. You may also use a small cup or shot glass on a saucer

Fill the cup with a little water, then cut flowers to size and put in cup.
On the saucer, put a few quail eggs. Put the rock salt on one side of the saucer.
Sprinkle a few rosemary leaves on the salt.
