The dry season does not necessarily mean that it won’t rain, thus worrying people who want to slip into their best shoes.

Geox is bringing into the footwear market a collection that is not only stylish but also resilient to that sudden change in weather.

“We want to emphasize that the shoes are very functional and comfortable in the daily life of our customer in the urban environment,” said Mauro Malta, managing director of Geox Asia Pacific Limited, at the launch of the brand’s Spring-Summer 2015 collection at Shangri-La Plaza Mall.

Geox shoes are known for the holes on their soles, the visible sign of the patent in their DNA, whether moccasins and brogues for men; wedges and flats for women; or sneakers and slip-ons for both. The shoes have a microporous layer that expels sweat and keeps out water, to insulate the feet for whatever weather. Some pairs boast an exhaust system in the lining, others a quick-dry function. The Amphibiox line is water-resistant on both the sole and the upper. Nebula units have special structures in their soles to cushion the feet and also ensure traction.

Among the women’s shoes, the Ivana strap-ons and Ritva moccasins and lace shoes, in nubuck and synthetic leather, are trendy. So are the shoes with woven materials, leather on Jolanda and textile on Sukie.

For men, Geox offers ankle boots and moccasins in Mattias ABX, and classy lace shoes in Guildford. Bright colorways are available with the Copacabana slip-ons, the Nebula line and the Guerrero, working on the fabricsneaker silhouette.

The Spring-Summer 2015 Collection is available in over 1,240 shops across more than 100 countries, and also has outerwear and accessories, plus footwear for kids.
