Celebrity stylist Liz Uy recently joined close friends atthe much-awaited New York Fashion Week. Throughout her trip, Liz came prepared with her latest lipstick collection, which she recently launched with Happy Skin. Among the three colors—24 Carats (pink), Red Carpet (red) and Style Icon (nude)—she focusedon the red lippie. With this color that fits her so well, there wasn’t much need to put on too much makeup. She would just pair Red Carpet up with moisturizer, thin brows and a clean base, giving her a fresh look. “New look in a new country,” she said.Liz loves how the Happy Skin StyLIZed red lippie could be used from day to night in the city.
Marsala being the color of 2015, Liz paired it with a printed grid big skirt in the same color and a sky-blue trench coat. She worked with a lot of layering with other colors of the same family, especially because of the cold weather in the Big Apple.
Liz believes that any girl’s best look comes from the glow ofbeing truly happy or in love. When a girl is in this state, there isn’t much else that is needed, other thanmakeup that will enhance what’s already within. Her collaboration with Happy Skin founders Jacqe Yuengtian-Gutierrez and Rissa Mananquil-Trillo has allowed Liz to create lipsticks that can do just this, for the girl who wants to complete her daily look with style. Among the three colors, she favors nude for the morning and red for the evening.
