After having lately played as a soloist and collaborative artist, Coyiuto will perform as a solo recitalist in “Cristine Coyiuto: The Audi Recital.”
The musical presentation will spotlight the well-designed Audi showroom as a fitting venue for the performing arts. She will interpret Mozart Sonata No. 16, K. 545; Beethoven Sonata No. 31, Op. 110; and Chopin Ballade No. 4, Op. 52.
Coyiuto’s concert at the Audi Global in November was acclaimed for her superb rendition of George Gershwin’s Concerto in F with the Metro Manila Concert Orchestra under the baton of Josefino Toledo. Her playing amazingly “captured the essence and sparkling wit of Gershwin’s piece,” said Rosalinda Orosa.
Coyiuto received her master’s degree in Music at New York’s Juilliard School of Music under Jacob Lateiner. In Europe, where she continued training, her mentors included Gaby Casadesus, Nikita Magaloff, Fou Ts’ong and Philippe Entrémont.
Coyiuto was a distinguished lauréate of Ravel Music Academy in St. Jean-de-Luz, France, and Switzerland’s Genève Conservatory.
She has performed extensively in major US and European cities, Canada and Asia, including China, Taiwan, and the Philippines.
She has appeared as soloist with prestigious ensembles, including the Vancouver Symphony and Chamber Orchestras; and the Toulouse, Singapore and Braddell Heights Symphony Orchestras.
The “Audi Recital” is presented by the Cultural Arts Events Organizer and Audi Philippines. The concert will benefit Juan Antonio Lanuza endowment funds for advance vocal studies.
