The Singapore Airlines (SIA) Showcase and Travel Fair 2015 was a smashing success, dahlings, judging by its recent launch at Ayala Malls’ Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City.
The airline offered a list of attractive travel packages for the Philippine market. SIA regional vice president for Southeast Asia Philip Goh reiterated the airline’s commitment to elevating the air travel and tourism landscape in the Philippines: “Singapore Airlines and our sister carrier, SilkAir, operate a total of 49 flights a week from the Philippines and connect to over 90 cities globally through Singapore. With 2015 being Visit the Philippines Year, we are all set to bring the world to the country… Also, our investments this year, such as the recent introduction of our First Class product on one of our Manila-to-Singapore flights and the coming launch of our new SilverKris Lounge, clearly demonstrate the confidence we have in the Philippines as a tourist and business destination.”
The airline’s general manager for the Philippines Carol Ong said, “Singapore Airlines is committed to bringing the best travel experience to our customers at exceptional value.”
SIA senior marketing and PR executive Camille Rose Pacis added that the event provided travelers access to SIA’s and SilkAir’s exceptional all-in Business and Economy Class fares to important destinations like Manila, Cebu, Davao and Kalibo. Ray-Ban’s Denim Wayfarer
The hashtag #ruggedasdenim signaled the launch of Ray-Ban’s newest eye-catching pair, the Denim Wayfarer.
A modern spin on the famous brand, Denim Wayfarer lends an extra rugged appeal to the signature Wayfarer line. Think of it as your timeless pair of jeans, this time done up on your sunglasses—a more up-front expression of the classic style.
A dynamic Ray-Ban setup invaded spaces in SM Makati and SM Megamall Fashion Hall, where celebrities and other influential figures got their hands busy checking out the Denim Wayfarer pairs. Alden Richards and Kean Cipriano were among the many celebs spotted at the silk-screening booth, where guests could design and personalize denim patches; while Kylie Padilla and Yassi Pressman wrote their thoughts on an interactive denim wall, where messages, secrets and expressions could be written on a denim square and hung on a vast exhibit wall.
“Ray-Ban Denim Wayfarer comes in six gorgeous colors: dark blue, natural wash (in light blue), orange, violet, green and black. Carefully crafted with five layers of ultra-strong denim, fused together with polypropylene and acetate at high temperatures, each Denim Wayfarer pair is a creation that’s truly worth taking space in any closet, like that pair of jeans you’ve had on forever,” explained Ray-Ban division marketing manager Neelam Gopwani.
Ray-Ban Denim Wayfarer is exclusively available at SM Accessories. For more information, follow the @RayBanCollector on Twitter and Instagram.
‘Bare For More’
The burning summer heat makes going to the beach almost a necessity.
Just in time to welcome the hot season, Strip!, a global authority in waxing, together with brow expert Browhaus, collaborated with swimsuit label I Love Koi to stage the fashion event “Bare For More.”
Held recently at Manille’s chic party place, The Valkyrie in Bonifacio Global City, the event attracted a mix of high-profile guests, natch. By the time the dynamic tandem of Joey Mead-King and JM Rodriguez entered the stage as emcees, the guests’ energy level was on high gear.
Moments before the show, Spa Esprit Group global general manager Micheas Chan and account manager for beauty division Sophie Ong together with Strip and Browhaus Philippines’ Tab Abad Estacion, Monique Jamlang, I Love Koi’s Lace Tan and Jade Haw led everyone to a quick toast, and thanked them for coming to support and celebrate with them.
Setting the runway ablaze, palangga, were our town’s hottest models. Manille’s most beautiful women showed off their smooth skin, perfectly done brows, and the cool, fresh designs by I Love Koi.
Judging from the crowd’s reaction, the models did not disappoint.
It was the perfect event to enjoy summer.
