At 8,000 sq m, the Amenity Deck enhances what must be one of the most vast lifestyle open spaces in Metro Manila
The Grove by Rockwell, along C-5 Road in Ortigas area, Pasig City, opens on May 16 what must be the biggest poolside deck of a residential development in the country.
At a jaw-dropping 8,000 square meters, the Amenity Deck has three lap pools with combined measurements of over 1,200 sq m. There’s a more-than-generously sized central pool, which at 750 sq m covers as much ground as the event place, Rockwell Tent. There’s also a leisure pool and a kiddie pool.
Serving to anchor six towers in the 5.4-hectare development, the Amenity Deck should be perfect for a swimming party or any event, with a gazebo right between the pools.
It can be the venue for other fun activities. Run some laps around the 1-kilometer jogging path; play ball in the Great Lawn, a sprawling garden that’s mere steps away from the pool; or simply curl up with a good book in one of many available lounge chairs.
Aiming for a relaxed, resort-type atmosphere, The Grove by Rockwell was inspired by such high-end developments as Jakarta’s Pakubuwono Residence and Bali’s Amanusa beach resort.
Other than giving unit owners the ambiance of an upscale vacation destination, this oasis in the city, like other Rockwell Land Corp. developments, offers a rare commodity in today’s congested cities—the luxury of wide, open spaces.
“The Grove is 75 percent open space and 25 percent building footprint,” said Rockwell Land assistant vice president for marketing Vienn Tionglico-Guzman. “We believe in personal space and exclusivity.”
The philosophy is translated suitably into modern units, ranging from cozy studios to one-, two- and three-bedroom flats, and even enviable garden lofts.
Buyers into this lifestyle vary from young professionals and families to empty nesters and retirees, who want their interests and passions to be within their reach.
Within walking distance
“They want everything set for them,” said Tionglico-Guzman. “When they come home from work and they feel like exercising, they can just walk to the pool or gym. If they’re hungry, they know they have dining options close by. When you buy a Rockwell development, you buy it for quality living. We just don’t build a box; everything is interconnected and master-planned into a community of people who are discerning about where they choose to live and raise their families.”
With its exclusive access to a swimming pool, tennis court, basketball court, a state-of-the-art gym and indoor basketball court, residents of The Grove by Rockwell are provided some of the finest amenities condominium living can buy.
After the Amenity Deck, The Grove community can look forward to the opening of new restaurants and services at the Community Center at the main entrance.
The first two towers have already been turned over, the rest are for progressive turnover this year (Towers C and D) and in 2016 (Towers E and F).
The Grove is said to command the highest rental rate within the Ortigas area.
“People abroad who invest in our properties look forward to coming home,” said Tionglico-Guzman. “So we’ll take care of leasing their unit to carefully screened tenants until such time they’re able to come home and enjoy their investment themselves.”
