Why Mayweather is still undefeated

Your mantra for the week: “With God as my inner partner, there is no end to my success.”

What thoughts have you been carrying all your life? Thoughts initiate the quality of your existence. If you truly love yourself, you would examine these thoughts and decisively and dynamically root out all false beliefs, erroneous opinions, and, most importantly, ill will of any kind.

If you are able to do so, you begin to see life unfold in the most dramatic way, showing you that, truly, God is everywhere; you will see the good in everything.

When your life is filled with so-called situations and problems, ask yourself these questions: What are the beliefs I still carry within me that are creating such problems? What feelings do I have to let go of? What erroneous opinions do I have of myself, of people, of situations, of circumstances and events in my life?

Ask for guidance, ask that the Universe reveal what you have to know.

We are all here to discover our true Selves, and this means realizing that there is a Power within every person—most especially within yourself. We are here to discover our Godhood.

We have believed long enough that we are only human, but it is not so. We are also God ourselves, and to know this is the purpose of our lives.

More questions: How much do you love yourself? Do you appreciate your body which is the temple of the Living Spirit? Do you have thoughts of gratitude in terms of what you already have in your life?

What feelings do you have about people? Do you treat them kindly? If not, it only means you are not treating yourself with kindness either. When you find yourself criticizing others, you may not be aware that you’re also self-critical.

How much do you appreciate your life? What beliefs do you carry about life—your childhood, your parents, your environment, the world, the universe. What is your belief about God?

Dynamically and decisively now, root out all false beliefs—like, for instance: I am a sinner; God is up there and I am down here; beliefs in evil, the devil and hell. All these must go if you are to discover your own Divinity. There is only One Power and this is all good. How many lifetimes will it take us to understand this?

No matter how many, no matter the infinite number, it is the process of realizing our Divinity that changes the quality of our lives.

‘Chosen’ winner

“It is Mayweather Everywhere” was how I titled my column on May 3, D-day of the most-awaited boxing match of the century. I hesitated to say outright that Mayweather was sure to win because I did not want to be accused of being unpatriotic by 99 percent of Filipinos who were rooting for Pacquiao to win the Battle for Greatness.

That’s how far our countrymen would go to show their support and admiration for their hero; and even now, after his defeat, the welcoming home is just as warm and enthusiastic.

I am not a boxing aficionado; neither am I a Mayweather nor Pacquiao fan as far as the sport is concerned. What I admire in both of them is their to-have-not and then to have-a-plenty stories, which are really inspiring because they show how they have used their abilities to come up in the world.

Here is my take on why Mayweather was the chosen winner. I say chosen because I did not believe either would be knocked down. It had to be a decision… and so it was!

In esoteric Astrology, zodiac signs are divided into three classifications: the Cardinal (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn); the Fixed (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius); the Mutable (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces).

Within each classification, circularly, they yield to each other in the aforementioned order.

For the information of the reader, Mayweather was born Feb. 24, thus, he is a Piscean. Pacquiao’s natal day is Dec. 17, making him a Sagittarian. Therefore, in the case of the Mayweather-Pacquiao bout, one can see that Sagittarius (Pacquiao) yielded to Pisces (Mayweather).

7 planetary cycles

In my analysis of the would-be winner, I also took into consideration the Seven Planetary cycles that each of us goes through every year, from birthday to birthday. Each cycle covers 52 days.

After close examination, Mayweather and Pacquiao’s respective cycles were on an almost even keel with regard to the vibratory strengths of their planetary positions.

At first glance, Pacquiao looked like he had the edge because on May 2, he would be in his Mars or third cycle, giving him all the physical strength necessary for him to win.

This location is a distinct advantage in any activity that is physical. Yes would be the answer to those who are asking whether this includes sex.

Interestingly, Mayweather on May 2 was in his Moon or second cycle. The Moon cycle is a continuation of the Sun or first cycle that showers the person concerned with expected and unexpected blessings.

Although in the Moon cycle, the waxing and waning of the moon is a factor that has to be fully considered.

Please note that on the night of the fight, the moon was waxing toward its maximum fullness—a most auspicious site for anyone transiting the cycle of the moon. I suspect Mr. Mayweather may have made some “consultations” with experts on the subject before setting the date of the match.

Life is consciousness

However, the third and most important component of the Mayweather triumph is his consciousness. I believe that one’s life is really one’s state of consciousness.

Let me explain that consciousness is the sum total of all our thoughts, feelings, the words we speak and our beliefs which include all our “unbeliefs” (things we believe are impossible).

Let us, therefore, compare the Mayweather and the Pacquiao consciousness as seen and expressed in their interviews, comments, interjections and projections.

Let us now focus on the following remarks made by both contenders.

Pacquiao said, “Sa akin lang naman, ang lamang ko is I have Jesus. I have God. I have God with me (was he implying perhaps that God may not be with Mayweather?) I believe God will deliver him (Mayweather) to my hands.”

Notice that Pacquiao’s concept of God is in the “outer” instead of “within,” which I constantly emphasize in IAMISM.

And about his opponent, he said, “I pray that someday, he would change his ways. He should fear God.” I take exception to that comment because I do not believe that fearing God is a virtue. Why should anyone fear God when God is a God of Love and never condemns anyone? It is we that condemn ourselves and others.

Meanwhile, Mayweather said, “I am God-gifted… my spirituality is more private. I’ve got my own personal relationship with God. I know that there is a God because I was able to survive everything that I’ve been through—all of the tough times and I am still at the top of my game.”

I remember how Pacquiao was, before he was born again. He used to simply kiss his rosary, kneel quietly in a corner and pray silently. Today, he wears his religion on his sleeve—like asking his pastors to sing the National Anthem and constantly calling on Jesus for everyone to hear.

I must stress that consciousness also attracts into your life everything that is likened to your consciousness, which simply means that like attracts like. And that should explain why Pacquiao has a coach like Freddie Roach who says, “This fight is between good and evil.”

Wow, from that point of view, evil has won!

Furthermore, while comparing their consciousness, both champions had also made statements. Pacquiao: “I want to win.” Mayweather: “I was born a winner.”

Observe that when one says, “I want,” it means one does not have it. On the other hand, when someone says, “I was born a winner,” you are a winner at all times.

Many people may not agree with my methodology especially about consciousness, but I believe consciousness determines character and character decides one’s destiny.

I have no comments about the fight that I never watched because I do not believe in the sport as I had mentioned two weeks ago. Yes, some people say that it is an art and there is a science to it, but I still believe it is cruel and I will stand by my statement that, in the Age of Aquarius, boxing will cease to be a sporting game.
