The oppressive heat just won’t go away, so it’s better to be more vigilant about getting caught directly under the sun.
In our case, we don’t intend to wake up with more sunspots and wrinkles than we already have.
Although Botox and fillers seem to be the popular solution to aging skin, they don’t always come out beautiful. These procedures are sometimes even more damaging than helpful.
There is really no such thing as being under the sun for a short while when we are not protected. Fortunately there are reliable sun-care brands in the market, one of which, Sisley, we have been using since college.
Here are some remarkable developments from the brand:
In 1990, Sisley launched Super Crème Solaire Visage, a pioneering sun-care cream that went beyond fighting premature skin aging by using active treatment ingredients.
In 2006, it released Sunleÿa, an innovative product formulated to help control the effects of the sun and boost the skin’s natural defense system.
In 2014, Sunleÿa morphed into Sunleÿa G.E.—in addition to its significantly improved antiaging action of glycation and solar elastosis, it included a broad-spectrum solar filter. A new formula was created, propelling Sisley to the forefront of photo-aging prevention.
And this year, thanks to 25 years of expertise in formulating sun-care products, Sisley Research took one step further by creating Super Soin Solaire Facial Sun Care—a water-resistant youth protector.
Here’s the rest of the 2015 Sisley sun-care collection—not exactly the same as previous editions, but not completely different either.

How to protect your makeup kit from the sun
The sweltering temperature affects the chemical components of makeup, which can be harmful to the skin.
What to do:
Don’t leave your makeup kit directly under the sun to avoid oxidation.
If your lipsticks start to deform, don’t take them out of the case; put them in the refrigerator for a couple of minutes to solidify.
Don’t keep your makeup kit in humid places where bacteria abounds.
Buy a compact cosmetic ref (Odacite, Mini Zzang).
Line or cover your makeup kit with a deflective material like aluminum foil.
