Returning for its 15th year, the Youth Congress on Information Technology (Y4iT) aspires to be a constant source of inspiration for students, educators, entrepreneurs, and IT enthusiasts. Exciting tech topics, showcasing of smart solutions, and motivational career talks await its participants on September 5, 6, and 7, 2017 at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.
With the theme “Engineer A Better Future,” Y4iT aims to inspire the youth to recognize their potential as game changers in the IT industry. With the right idea and the right motivation, anybody can have the power to bridge the gap between man and machine.
Learning is made more fun and entertaining for the Y4iT delegates with exciting games, big raffle prizes, and surprise performances. The congress also provides the participants with the opportunity to connect and network with big names in the IT sector, as well as a variety of industry experts that can motivate and mentor them in their IT journey.
The Youth Congress on Information Technology is organized by the UP System IT Foundation (UPSITF). First held in the University of the Philippines, Diliman in 2003, it has grown to be the largest IT event in the country. Having started with only 3,000 delegates on its first year until it reached the record breaking – 24,000 attendees, Y4iT’s goal proves to be beneficial to its participants.
