First, a confession: we don’t do yoga. But that doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate how comfortable Uniqlo’s Denim Yoga Pants look. They look even more comfortable than our already mighty comfy denim leggings. They say it’s “stunningly unrestrictive.” We say “we’ll take three.”
Uniqlo Philippines’ PR manager Jasmin Ferrero-Cruz feels the same way. She said, “I’m a jeans person and I always want my jeans to be highly comfortable. With the new yoga jeans, I can run from here to there and I won’t feel like I’m wearing jeans. The new denim fabric used is so stretchy and comfortable, I’m so excited about it.”
Ultra Light Down and Seamless Down
We were already so proud of our Ultra Light Down jacket and vest, both of which have traveled with us to different parts of the world. “Look how compact it is,” we’ve told friends again and again. “It makes packing so much easier.”
But when we saw just how light this newest evolution of Ultra Light Down is, we couldn’t help but gape. “That’s crazy,” we said. We gaped even more when we saw the rack of Seamless Down jackets and vests. So sleek, so pretty, so completely the opposite of the Michelin Man. And we’re eyeing those Stretch Down vests, too.
We grew up in the ’90s, so flannel will always have a special spot in our hearts. Uniqlo’s extensive flannel collection has reignited that love. There are basic flannel shirts in different patterns and colors, airy light flannels you can layer with sweaters and thicker lined flannel that can be worn as coats.
We’ve zeroed in on the long flannel shirts that can be worn as light coats or as dresses.
Smart Shape Jeans
We can attest to the fact that Uniqlo’s body-shaping technology really works—and it’s sold at a fraction of the price of Spanx. So when the brand says its slim-fit Smart Shape Jeans can beautify waistlines with a special fabric across the stomach, we believe it. We believe it and we’ll buy it.
Inès de la Fressange’s shirts
The French model’s collaborations with Uniqlo have been a source of simple elegance for the brand’s fans. This time, we’re obsessing over the pretty striped button-down shirts. They’re just lovely.
Carine Roitfeld’s collection
Uniqlo has yet to reveal more details about its collaboration with the French fashion editor, and we cannot wait to see it. “There are almost 40 items in the Carine line—it’s a full collection,” said Uniqlo design director Naoki Takizawa.
