Airing this weekend is Marian Rivera’s new television commercial (TVC) for Hana Shampoo (Shokubutsu Hana) which shows her natural, candid self.
The popular actress believes that endorsing Hana’s green variant Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo is spot-on—since it has all-natural ingredients, no strong smell, and goes well with the other products she personally uses.
“Pag natural product ang gamit, there is an assurance that it is does not contain (harmful) chemicals. Ayokong amoy babaeng-babae, but this shampoo is good for both men and women,” Marian tells Inquirer Lifestyle shortly before the Hana product launch at noontime today.
“Para sa akin, class ang amoy ng Hana. Maarte ako sa ganun, eh,” adds the blooming mother-to-be (she’s due in November) and loving wife of actor Dingdong Dantes.
Marian has been using Hana for more than two years now. Her other favorite, Hana Soft and Silky, is still in the market.
The new TVC shows Marian burping after eating a watermelon, yawning on a sleepy afternoon and scratching her side as she sits on a hammock.
The makers of Hana shampoo say Marian remains their endorser because she represents all-natural beauty (“hindi retokada”). The scenes capture Marian’s candor and funny side.
She points out there were no edits during the entire TVC shoot. “No artificial hair flipping or wind machines,” she insists.
Marian adds that the billboards will even show some hair strands covering her face, proof that the whole project is meant to highlight no-filter beauty.
She admits to being sensitive to perfumes and strong smells in the early stage of her pregnancy. Hana Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo’s gentle scent is thus perfect for her.
“Sobrang suwerte ko lang na [whether I’m pregnant or not], puwede ang Hana,” she notes.
