AUTHORS Katie Cotugno, Melissa Kantor, and Robyn Schneider will be in the Philippines

Fans of Katie Cotugno (“How To Love,” “99 Days”), Melissa Kantor (“Better Than Perfect,” “Maybe One Day,” “The Darlings In Love,” “The Darlings Are Forever,” “Invisible I,” “The Breakup Bible,” “Confessions of a Not It Girl,” “Girlfriend Material,” “If I Have A Wicked Stepmother, Where’s My Prince?”) and Robyn Schneider (“The Beginning of Everything,” “Extraordinary Means,”) are already counting the days until this weekend, when the three authors, known as “KMR” collectively, will be signing books courtesy of National Book Store.

If you haven’t had the chance to to read any of their books, we strongly recommend you grab copies right now; we don’t need to tell you to read non-stop until the end—you’ll do that on your own once you start reading. With the exception of Kantor’s Darlings series, the books are not connected and can be read in any order.

Their books were recently bundled by publisher Harper Collins in a three-book collection called “All You Need Is Love” featuring “How To Love,” “The Beginning of Everything,” and “Maybe One Day.” Here is Super’s crash course on reading and loving KMR if you don’t have enough time to read all 13 books before the event:

1) Robyn Schneider – “The Beginning Of Everything”

Super popular jock Ezra Faulkner’s life is upended after a life-changing accident. While struggling to accept his new reality, he meets mysterious new student Cassidy Thorpe, and suddenly, life as a “nobody” may not be so bad at all. That is until secrets come to the fore and threaten his newfound relationship.

The story is told from Ezra’s POV; fans of John Green will love the voice Schneider gives Ezra, as well as the fun friends she surrounds him with.

JOHN Green fans will love Robyn Schneider’s witty male protagonists and quirky secondary characters.

2) Katie Cotugno – “How To Love”

Most YA contemporary stories deal with family issues and romance and Cotugno’s debut novel, which deals with teen pregnancy and drug abuse, is as real and painful as it gets.

HOW To Love deals with first love, heartbreak, teen pregnancy, and second chances

3) Melissa Kantor – “Maybe One Day”

This book can be likened to “Beaches,” but for a younger audience. The story is about ex-ballerinas and best friends Zoe and Olivia and how their friendship is put to the test when one of them is diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. Keep the tissues nearby because this is a tear-jerker (don’t read this before you go to bed or you’ll wake up with puffy eyes swollen from crying).

MELISSA Kantor’s tearjerker is a beautiful tale of friendship.

4) Katie Cotugno – “99 Days”

Disgraced Molly Barlow returns to her small hometown during her last break before heading to college. The story takes place in the 99 days before she leaves, where she tries to repair the damage she caused when she came between brothers Patrick and Gabe Donnelly. Cotugno writes a compelling and riveting love triangle that will keep your eyes glued to the pages.

5) Melissa Kantor – “Better Than Perfect”

Over-achiever Juliet Newman’s life falls apart when her parents split up. Suddenly, all her best-laid plans—get into an Ivy League college with her longtime boyfriend, get a perfect SAT score—become meaningless in the face of her family problems.

Katie Cotugno, Melissa Kantor and Robyn Schneider will be at Northwing Atrium, SM City Cebu on July 4, 2PM and at the Grand Atrium, Shangri-La Plaza on July 5, 2PM. Registration begins at 10AM for both events. Visit National Book Store’s Facebook page: bit.ly/nationalbookstore to know more details about the events and follow them on Twitter/Instagram: @nbsalert.
