In a ceremony to award its top-producing agents, The Discovery Leisure Company reaffirmed its position as one of the top leisure service providers and travel destinations in the country.
The event, dubbed “Las Estrellas,” was held at Discovery’s posh new development in Makati, the Discovery Primea. The top agents who booked the biggest number of clients for Discovery Leisure Company’s travel destinations were given trophies made by renowned brass sculptor Ferdinand Cacnio.
Guests watched a special performance of Spanish dance group Grupo Nuevo Flamenco. They were then treated to a scrumptious five-course dinner, then serenaded by singer Sam Concepcion.
Improvements
Jun Parreño, chief operating officer of The Discovery Leisure Company, revealed plans to improve on and expand Discovery Shores Boracay. The changes will consist of extending the popular Sandbar and Sands Restaurant farther onto the beach. But he assured guests these improvements would be done with care for the environment.
He also announced plans to improve, revive and reinvigorate Discovery’s latest acquisition—Club Paradise in Dimakya Island, Coron, Palawan.
