Forbes Park resumes ODAs canvassing today

The Forbes Park Association, Inc. (FPA) board will resume the canvassing of the survey votes for the installations of Outdoor Distributed Antenna Systems (ODAs) today, July 23.
In a letter to Lifestyle, FBA governor Maria Teresa P. Gallego wrote that “the ODAS survey vote which commenced last July 15, has not been completed,” and sought to correct the story titled “It’s a ‘yes’: Forbes Park getting new antennas” that ran on Sunday, July 19.
The installations of ODAs in Forbes Park have been a brewing controversy that has divided residents in the gated village in Makati. (See Lifestyle May 31, June 28, July 19.)
Their installations have been proposed to improve the mobile signal access in the village. While some residents have been batting for the installations, others have protested, claiming that ODAs pose health risks.
Therefore, a survey of the residents has been taken to arrive at a consensus.
