Dahlings! Today let me talk about the photo shoot for the recent cover of Philippine Tatler featuring Vicki Belo and 15 top celebrity endorsers of the Belo Medical Group. Shot at The Theatre at Solaire by Nigel Barker with classic Hollywood as theme, the cover was the luxury lifestyle magazine’s tribute to the 25th anniversary of Belo as a popular beauty center.
It took two days for Vicki and the celebs—Dingdong Dantes, Iza Calzado, Isabelle Daza, Sarah Geronimo, Enrique Gil, Lucy Torres-Gomez, Matteo Guidicelli, Ruffa Gutierrez, Jessica Kienle, Sarah Lahbati, Piolo Pascual, Liza Soberano, Derek Ramsay, Tom Rodriguez and Tim Yap—to be photographed.
To land on the cover of Tatler was a dream come true for Vicki, who said, “I had a smile on my face waking up on day two of the shoot, realizing that I was just photographed by Nigel Barker.”
Barker is known as a judge and photographer on the reality TV show “America’s Next Top Model” and also the host of another reality program, “The Face.”
The Tatler cover was formally unveiled at the Ayala Museum, attended by about 300 of the country’s A-listers.
“What made us who and where we are right now is more than just the faces of these celebrities,” Vicki said of the cover. “It is with their complete trust and confidence that we help them be the best versions of themselves, because we have 25 years of expertise of beauty done right.”
The event had Bloomwoods providing the specially-made floral wall and Javi Martinez of Paparazzi Events handling the cocktails and the program.
Vicki’s pride, her roster of expert doctors and her Belo Babies, were all present and accounted for.
Martin Nievera sang a few numbers.
Welcoming the guests were Philippine Tatler publisher Irene Martel-Francisco, editor in chief Anton San Diego and Belo Medical Group marketing and image consultant Jojie Dingcong.
To Vicki and her team that includes my guardian angels, doctors Eloise Busi and Joey Muñoz, we look forward to more Belo-gorgeous years. Cheers!

Belated b’day party
The lovable ace photographer and my soulmate, Alex Van Hagen, waited a month after his birthday to celebrate the occasion.
He wanted a party that also served as a reunion among bosom buddies and close friends.
The get-together—held at the home of woman of substance Nini Licaros in a posh Makati village—consisted of afternoon tea with heavy early dinner catered by Millie Reyes of The Plaza.
Making sure everything was fine were Nene Leonor, Mabel Abano, Mellie Ablaza, Mimi Valerio, Evie Costa, Agnes Huibonhoa, Karen Macasaet, Gov. Baby Ortiz, Chit Salud, and Fe Ng.
There were loads of gossip on fashion, and who’s in and out among government officials. But my lips are sealed on this one, palangga, at least for now.
