The FIRST WAVE OF JUAN BIG IDEA: A VOYAGE TOWARDS MARKETING EMINENCE, South Luzon Edition has successfully fulfilled and exceeded the horizons of over a thousand Marketing students in the Land of a Thousand Colors, Quezon Province at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation.
Igniting the flame of excitement within the hearts and minds of junior marketers, the Director of Youth and Academe of the Philippine Marketing Association (PMA), Ms. Faith Abano, emphasized that one’s passion should have a sense of contribution and make it as his personal brand.
Starting off our set of speakers, the #PambansangInspirasyon ng Social Media, Mr. Lloyd Abria Luna, fueled the minds of the delegates with the power to write their own life story in Personal Branding, teaching them that life is not about what you achieve. It’s about the lives of the people you touch. He raised the awareness about their labels in Social Media Management: “Bawat post ninyo pinapakilala niyo sarili niyo”.
Meanwhile, the site owner of DigitalFilipino.com, Ms. Janette Toral, gears the delegates with her 11 set of Laws of Personal Branding for Impression Management. She marked her tracks with a remarkable advice, “When someone criticizes us online, we can redeem ourselves by the way we respond.”
Lastly, the President of Philippine Marketing Association (PMA), Mr. Henry Tenedero, didn’t just impart thoughts about Branding the Marketers for the ASEAN Integration but also lessons in life. He highlighted that character is more significant than theories, activities or even lesson being taught in institutions. One should make his life worth living in order for him to leave a legacy on this temporary world.
It has been a remarkable starter for this JBI journey and it wouldn’t be possible if it had not been for our fellow junior marketers and of course, without the aid of our kind-hearted and benevolent sponsors: Wacoal, Asian Secrets, PH Care, Birkenstock, Human Nature, Kambal Pandesal , Earth Gateway Travel and Tours, Clickthecity.com, Inquirer.net, Wazzup Pilipinas, Barangay 91.1 Lucena, Whatsup.ph, 1Digimedia, Aktivshow.ph, Voice of The Youth Radio and Creativoices.
We would also like to thank all the junior marketers who have donated school supplies for the 260 Grade 1 pupils of Gulang-Gulang Elementary school. We have collected 350 notebooks, 420 pencils, 120 ballpens and 20 packs of crayons.
We have once again overcame even greater heights and surpassed our limits, junior marketers!
It was certainly spectacular voyage towards Marketing eminence!
