Marceline boots? We’ll bite

When Dr. Martens released its first “Adventure Time” collection earlier this year, many fans were thrilled. Finn the Human and Jake the Dog boots? Oh my glob! But a number also had the same reaction online:

“No Marceline?”

“Marceline please!!!!!!”

“NO MARCELINE ONES I AM HURT”

“If there’s Marceline Dr. Martens then I’m down.”

Clearly, Marceline the Vampire Queen is adored by many. And Dr. Martens has made these fans’ Marceline dreams come true with the brand’s second collaboration with Cartoon Network. The new collection includes a pair inspired by the 1,000 year-old gothic bass-playing rocker.

These eight-hole boots were made for rocking. They’re black and white with touches of blue and red-very Marceline. The pair features Marceline’s face (and fangs), a fuzzy, furry tongue that’s a nod to her long midnight black hair and, our favorite part: two red eyelets on each boot, an homage to the bite mark on her neck. We love the blue stitching and blue alternate laces too.

Olivia Olson (you might remember her as Joanna Anderson, the pretty little girl who sang “All I Want for Christmas” in the movie “Love Actually”-but she’s all grown up now), who provides the voice (and the angelic vocals) of Marceline was thrilled to receive a pair of the boots. “THANKYOU @docmartensshoes for my #Marceline #adventuretime docs! Can’t wait to wear these bad boys at #SDCC2015,” she wrote on Instagram.

The second collection includes two other designs: Finn Print Canvas and Jake Print Canvas-a double dose of Adventure Time awesomeness. Mathematical!

The collection drops at Dr. Martens in Two Parkade on Saturday, July 19. Sizes for kids and adults will be available.
