This September, Rockwell Land gives a glimpse of what life will be like in its newest premier residential address, The Proscenium, with a series of events titled, “Embodied” at the Power Plant Mall, Rockwell Center.
“Embodied” is art coming to life as dancers beautifully adorned with body paint appear in the mall. Their body paint depicts different aspects of what life at The Proscenium would be like.
As the dancers come together in creatively choreographed poses, the viewer sees that each dancer’s body is a composite of a larger picture. Artist Alfred Galvez painted images representing The Proscenium—nature, performance, lifestyle and the arts.
The Proscenium at Rockwell is envisioned to be a hub of arts and culture. Aside from the residential towers, the 3.6-hectare development will have a retail area with top-notch dining options and a world-class performing arts theater.
“The Proscenium is truly a unique development where residents will just be a few steps away from live theater performances, a few doors down from masterpieces and a short walk from a hectare of outdoor amenities,” said Valerie Soliven, Rockwell Land senior vice president for High End Residential.
World-renowned architect Carlos Ott is behind the design of the Proscenium at Rockwell. His creations dot the skylines of Paris, Toronto, Dubai, Florida among world capitals.
Rockwell Land has always paid tribute to the arts by naming their towers after the country’s revered artists—Hidalgo, Manansala, Joya, Edades, Luna—and at the Proscenium, it goes one step farther by making it the home of masterpieces in various art forms.
Performances of “Embodied” will be held 12:30 p.m., 3 p.m. and 7p.m. on Sept. 27 and Oct. 4 at the P1 Concourse Level, Cinema and Proscenium Sales Lounge.
