Coach, Inc., a leading American design house of modern luxury accessories, apparel and footwear is excited to announce the opening of its first store in the Philippines, at Rustan’s Shangri-La.
The new store is designed in the Modern Luxury Concept by Coach executive creative director Stuart Vevers, in partnership with world-renowned creative firm Studio Sofield, led by designer and president William Sofield. Drawing from a wide range of influences, the concept places a premium on contrasting textures and luxe materials.
“As the Coach brand continues on the path of transformation, I wanted to create something different for Coach and unique in luxury,” said Vevers. “I believe the new incarnation of the Coach store that William Sofield and I created will trigger a powerful change in the perception of Coach; it is sophisticated and refined, yet playful and authentic.”
Located in Manila’s central shopping district, the new store will feature an array of women’s bags, accessories, and small leather goods.
Coach, established in New York City in 1941, has a rich heritage of pairing exceptional leathers and materials with innovative design. Coach is sold worldwide through Coach stores, select department stores and specialty stores, and through Coach’s website at www.coach.com. In 2015, Coach acquired Stuart Weitzman, a global leader in designer footwear, sold in more than 70 countries.
In the Philippines, Coach is exclusively distributed by Stores Specialists, Inc., a member of SSI Group, Inc.
