A slimming and beauty pioneer turns 30

For those doubtful about the supremacy of the scalpel but are still obsessed with healthy—and healthy-looking!—skin, a number of effective non-invasive procedures exist, thankfully.

With three decades under its belt, Marie France is celebrating women who’ve long trusted the brand. Industry icons such as Dawn Zulueta-Lagdameo, Mikaela Lagdameo-Martinez and Amanda Griffin-Jacob all swear by the slimming and beauty clinic’s ways.

“Even after two kids, I’m still comfortable wearing a bikini,” says Martinez.Another icon happy with her Marie France sessions? Lagdameo: “They’ve been there for me through my first pregnancy, second pregnancy, and even now in my 40s. I lost the pounds and inches after my two pregnancies, and now my pesky saddlebags and cellulite are also gone.”

To further celebrate the brand’s success, Marie France recently hosted a gorgeous event at Nobu Garden Patio at City of Dreams Manila that featured pink bubbly and the most adorable cotton candy creatures created by Pouf Cotton Candy.

The leader in slimming treatments in Manila (it also has hubs in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore), Marie France has partnered with ICanServe Foundation to help fight yet another common concern among women: breast cancer.

For this campaign, the partners have teamed up with Lea Salonga, Lagdameo and Jason Magbanua (a name endlessly chased by brides everywhere for the perfect wedding film coverage) behind the lens.

Marie France’s commitment to a cause championed by countless women is commendable and illustrates why the company has garnered a wide and loyal following among Filipinas.

Thirty, flirty and thriving? We’re sure even Jennifer Garner’s Jenna Rink would dance to that.
