Free admission to National Museum for whole month of October

Admission to the National Museum in Ermita, Manila and its branches nationwide is free to the public for the whole month of October.

The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) made the announcement on its Facebook page Thursday evening.

“The National Museum of the Philippines opens its doors for FREE to everyone for the whole month of October. So visit the National Museum near you and learn more about our history and culture,” NCCA said.

October is “Museums and Galleries Month” by virtue of Proclamation No. 798 s. 1991 signed by then President Corazon Aquino.

The National Museum also offered free admission in May, which was extended until June, in celebration of the National Heritage Month.
