INTERNATIONAL concert pianist Nick Nañgit will hold the concert, “Lunas,” on Oct. 23, 7 p.m., at the Museum of the History of Ideas of the University of the Philippines Manila.
The concert will benefit the Safe Motherhood Caravan and Education Program of the Philippine Business for Social Progress.
It will also benefit the 19th Festival of Trees of the Makati Garden Club.
A lawyer-CPA who studied at the Philippine Women’s University’s College of Music under National Artist for music Lucrecia Kasilag, Nañgit said he would perform rarely heard masterpieces by classical composers: Schumann, Liszt, Haydn, Lecuona, Rachmaninov/Schultz, Moszkowski, Profofiev, Poulenc.
Nañgit added he will perform a special arrangement of a medly of Original Pilipino Music (OPM).
