The Proscenium Residences: Rockwell Land unveils its finest creation yet

Bottom-up-hi-res

The unveiling of the last structural masterpiece has finally rendered the collection complete. Premium property developer Rockwell Land Corp. recently launched the fifth and final tower set to rise in the 3.6-hectare, ultra luxurious Proscenium enclave, which would bring the company closer to realizing its finest artwork creation to date.

The 59-storey Proscenium Residences, which is spearheaded by internationally acclaimed Uruguayan architect Carlos Ott of the famed L’Opera de la Bastille in Paris, is the latest architectural landmark development that will redefine and elevate further the already opulent lifestyle that Rockwell Land has long set for its residents in Makati City.

This latest showcase of grandness and artistry will be the fifth tower in the structural masterpiece that is the Proscenium enclave, and will again serve as a solid testament to Rockwell’s undisputed reputation of creating more than just concrete buildings, but works of art that speaks largely of elegance and affluence.

As the Proscenium Residences will carry the company’s trademark of groundbreaking design, high quality standard and the so-called Rockwell lifestyle, this newest addition is expected to introduce to the next generation of Rockwell residents a new breed of innovative luxury residence.

“Serving as a perfect sanctuary for those who seek privacy and elegance, this stunning architectural marvel is an essential part of the five tower Proscenium enclave, that’s being put together to not only redefine Makati’s skyline but also to create a cultural centre in the middle of a fast-paced city. Each of the five towers is a gem of an art that is deemed to seamlessly merged the intricacies and elegance of art, culture, modernity, design, comfort and a premium lifestyle in a single development,” explained, Rockwell Land Senior Vice President for High-End Residential Valerie Soliven.

Next generation residents

Touted as the new face of luxury, the Proscenium Residences will offer prime living spaces that will accord the “next generation” Rockwell residents more freedom to design their units according to their whims
and lifestyles.

“The Proscenium Residences, which will be the tallest of the five residential towers, will offer a diverse selection of unit cuts ranging from a cozy 29 square-meter studio unit, to a spacious 147-sqm three bedroom unit. And upon its completion, this piece de resistance will play host to a healthy mix of 563 comfortable and sophisticated living spaces that is composed of 100 studio units, 122 one-bedroom units, 241 two-bedroom units, and 100 three-bedroom units,” Soliven said.

The development’s unique two-leaf design will give it a distinct flair that will make it stand out from its surroundings, while the combination of timeless art with ultramodern conveniences will allow the Proscenium Residences to offer a holistic lifestyle for its residents. Given a hectare expanse of amenities located on the fifth floor, beautifully manicured gardens, a grand lawn, an outdoor tennis court, a splash pad, a floating river, and a jogging path, among others, the Proscenium thus promises a space of serenity and leisure.

Rare luxury

Future residents will be treated to an embodiment of rare luxury as the Proscenium Residences will feature an expansive lobby that combines nature’s warmth and modernity. Adding further value to this fine piece of art are the indoor amenities that include a fully-equipped gym and a dance studio that will surely cater to any fitness enthusiast. A function room is also available and can host a plethora of events for all occasions, while the tower’s business center will let you take care of pressing work needs without you having to leave the comfort of your own home.

“High-speed elevators, automatic fire alarm, fire detection and sprinkler systems, 100-percent standby emergency power and basement parking equipped with ventilation system controlled through carbon monoxide monitoring are some of the pluses of living at The Proscenium Residences,” Soliven added.

And as Rockwell Center has long been regarded as the “address of fashionable Manila,” situated around The Proscenium Residences will be rows of retail shops carrying luxury brands, and fine-dining restaurants to cater to future residents’ discerning palette as well.

Moreover, safety and security, of course, need not be a cause for concern for future residents as the entire Rockwell Center is a barricaded fortress from 12 midnight until 5 a.m., during which all major access points are closed. With 27 day-shift guards and 17 for the night shift in strategic areas around the Rockwell Center, residents are assured of utmost order and round-the-clock security.

Culture, artistry

And while The Proscenium enclave’s five towers might sound merely as an addition to the Lopezes’ architectural tributes to the Philippine arts like its predecessors, what actually sets it apart will be the construction of a significant cultural component: a state-of-the-art performing arts theater that will soon host world-class cultural performances.

The theater, which will be a first in Makati, will be created by Ott himself, whose undeniable brilliance in creating theaters and world class opera houses made him one of the most sought-after architects globally.

With a 500 seating capacity, the theater will showcase sophisticated facilities that are envisioned not only to serve as a steady anchor of the property, but to bring further excitement and drama to the daily routine of a typical Rockwell resident.

“Owning a piece of this structural gem gives one access not only to a lifestyle centered on opulence, comfort and convenience but also the privilege to immerse in a life centered on rich culture and fine artistry. And further completing the already rich artistic value of this development would be the Lopez Museum, wherein the archived collections of Filipiniana books, manuscripts, and maps remained unrivaled,” Soliven said.

Currently, the museum is distinguished by its collection of paintings by old masters, Juan Luna and Felix Ressurreccion Hidalgo, as well as works by National Artists including Carlos “Botong” Francisco, Vicente Manansala, H.R. Ocampo, Cesar Legaspi, and Arturo Luz.

Greatest Rockwell yet

The Proscenium’s first four towers were named after world-famous theaters. “Kirov” and “Sakura” will prize privacy and exclusivity, with each floor featuring only two to five units, while “Lorraine” will offer spacious units and its location provides easy access to the Rockwell Center. “Lincoln” for its part will feature diverse unit cuts fitted to the various needs of different residents.

Dubbed to be the greatest Rockwell yet, the five towers of The Proscenium will again strengthen the already solid and remarkable reputation Rockwell Land has built for itself over the past 20 years.

By bringing only pure artistry, ingenuity, expertise, and passion, Rockwell Land has set the stage on fire, and has given the country world-class, landmark architectural masterpieces, that continues to alter the way individuals know and understand the term “luxury.”

The future, indeed, promises only more innovations and even more towering accomplishments for this self-assured developer. With its “ultra luxury” mixed-use development, Rockwell Land managed to deliver highly valuable developments and successfully transform age-old notions of upscale living to suit the evolving needs and wants of the younger, yet most discerning, Filipino market—a feat difficult to achieve, an act surely too tough to follow, or more so, replicate.
