One of Cosmo Manille’s eligible bachelors, Bryan Chua, finally found and married his lady love, Micheleen “Mich” Subia. The dashing groom’s parents, Francis Chua, consul general of the Philippines to Peru, and Betty Chua, Tanzania honorary consul, were very happy that their only son tied the knot with Mich. She is the youngest daughter of Isabela business leaders Ernesto Subia and Pacita Subia.
How they met
The couple met through Mich’s brother-in-law who plays basketball with Bryan.
Bryan is a businessman while Mich works for her family’s business in Isabela. They were together for six years before deciding to get hitched.
The wedding was held at Santuario de San Antonio in Forbes Park, officiated by Cebu Archbishop Emeritus Ricardo J. Cardinal Vidal, Cubao Bishop Honesto Ongtioco, Palo Archbishop John F. Du and Msgr. Joseph C. Tan.
Principal sponsors were Lucio and Susan Co (with their daughter Camille in tow); Ramon Ang (who came with wife Teresita); Isabela Gov. Faustino Dy III; Paulette Liu; José and Marlyn Pardo; engineer Henry Tan and

The bride wore an exquisite wedding gown by Veluz Reyes while the groom was in a Randy Ortiz tux, naturellement.
Reception was at the new Marriott Manila grand ballroom with 1,200 guests enjoying the fabulous Chinese lauriat of lobster with noodles, and fresh steamed pink garoup—an extremely rare fish which has never been served in such big quantity prepared for the guests by Chinese chef Law Wui Wing.
It was a night to remember. George Yang of McDonald’s serenaded the newlyweds with classical pieces.
