Double celebration
Meanwhile, another inauguration, that of the Aivee Clinic at 2/F, Commercenter, Alabang, was packed with media guests, VIPs, celebrities and loyal clients, natch.
Program host JM Rodriguez welcomed guests before Dr. Aivee Teo and husband Dr. Z Teo led the ribbon-cutting with Muntinlupa Mayor James Fresnedi, Jackie Ejercito Lopez, Heart Evangelista, Gretchen Barretto, Tonyboy Cojuangco, Cat Antonio and, Dr. Aivee’s mom, Imelda Aguilar.
The event also served as a double celebration, as the inauguration was followed by a birthday surprise for Aivee.
Her sons Ken-Z and Kenzo and daughter Keli as well as clinic staff brought out a three-tier cake. Hubby Dr. Z marked the special occasion with another surprise—a beautiful ring for the birthday girl.
The party had an elegant indoor garden setup by Barbie Pardo, mirroring Aivee’s French-colonial interiors in all her clinics.
Reflective crystals, gold and glass accents enhanced the luxurious interiors, said to be inspired by the Grand-Hotel du Cap-Ferrat in the French Riviera, palangga.
Doctors explained the clinic’s new treatments and allowed guests to try them out.
The invitees enjoyed the delectable food and wine; an overflowing dessert corner with Heny Sison’s masterpieces was a favorite spot. There goes our calorie count, the guests sighed.
But then again, it would be easy to lose those pounds since the Aivee Clinic is now just next door to Alabang residents.

BroCon 2015, an event organized by men’s magazine FHM Philippines and hosted by House Manila at Remington Hotel in Resorts World, had lots of guy guests wanting to get a glimpse of the country’s sexiest women in the flesh.
