Tan at Ricco-Renzo

The artist orchestrates passages of dazzling rainbow colors in variegated shades of reds, oranges, yellows, blues, greens and purples, characterized by swirls and splashes, flecks and dribbles, sparkling in the liquidity of acrylic pigments, and minimally mediated to allow chords of colors to interweave and seek out their predestined forms and shapes.

Ricco-Renzo Gallery is at Suite 206, LRI Design Plaza, 210 N. Garcia St., Bel-Air II, Makati City. Call 8982545.
Cosico at Museo Pambata
MARC Cosico’s exhibit Lamon is on view until Oct. 31 at Museo Pambata’s Children in the Global Village.
Lamon is a collection of works that reflect on the artist’s experiences as a child, adolescent, young adult and, now, as a father. Cosico identified icons and images that represent the foreign influences in our culture, the cultural practices and the local counterinitiatives that formed a complex layer of our identity/ies as a person and as a people.
The exhibit is copresented by Philippine High School for the Arts and UP Los Baños.
Museo Pambata is along Roxas Boulevard corner South Drive, Manila. E-mail info@museopambata.org.
Pagarigan at Pinto
PINTO Art Museum presents In Between, sculptor Alab Pagarigan’s first solo show. It runs Oct. 18-Nov. 11.
The exhibit is the artist’s lyrical interpretation of those moments of existential choice or “the point(s) in human lives before they make a decision; the space between crossroads.”
Featured are a number of installed indoor sculptures of wire and resin casts, whose intricate and seeming fragile construction makes for a statement on the precariousness of his subject and the delicate attention to his theme.
Pinto is at 1 Sierra Madre St., Grand Heights, Antipolo City, Rizal. Call 6971015 or e-mail pintoartmuseum@yahoo.com.

MENDEZ Big and Small Gallery at SM Megamall presents the recent works of Aleah Angeles and Gemo Tapales.
