Vangie Baga-Reyes has compiled a second serving of the country’s sweetest treats in Inquirer Lifestyle’s “Best Desserts 2.”

The book, a follow-up to last year’s bestseller, will be launched on October 26 at the SMX Convention Center at SM Aura Premier in Bonifacio Global City.

It will be a gathering of over eighty of the country’s best pastry chefs and home bakers and they will be serving their sugary confections for guests to try.

Ana Lorenzana de Ocampo’s Strawberry Pie, Jonnathan Paul Em’s Butterball Cake,  Kyra Relampagos-Dy’s Nutalla Banana Cream Pie, Dorothy MJ Ferreria’s Chocolate Raspberry Cake, Joyce Urieta’s Manchego Curado Cheesecake, Marge San Diego’s Caramel Symphony Cake, Ange dela Cruz’s Ombre Cake, Camille Ocampo’s Creme Brulee Cake, Angela Atanacio’s Ube-Leche Flan Cake, Au Calubad’s Pandan Ganache, Joy Roxas’ Mango Sticky Rice with Coconut Cream Sauce, Chef Martin Kaspar’s Apple Tarte Tatin 1880, Ginny Gonzalez’s Cherry Walnut Torte, Annie Roces’ Lemon Chiffon Cake with Marshmallow Icing, Chef Miko Aspiras and Kristine Lotilla’s Matcha Sesame Cookies and Foie Gras Luxe Cookies, Stanley Tan’s Whoopie Pies, Tood English Food Hall’s OMG by Eric Dee and Carmen’s Best Ice Cream are just some of the many desserts that can be sampled at the event.
