THE IGOROT bul-ol, or rice god, is the subject of a new exhibition at Art Underground, “Little People.” Some 50 bul-ol sculptures from 40 artists reinterpret the Cordillera icon.
Artists include Aileen Lanuza, AJ Abelardo, Angge Lorente, Ayra Sayat, Bato, Bernard del Mundo, Cris Tuazon, Crismar de Ocampo, Dave Lock, Edwin Martinez, Gerecho Iniel Cruz, Harvy Armada, J. Simo, Jacob Lindo, Jason Cortez, Jay Torres, Joel Chavez, Joyen Santos, JR Atienza, Jukus Sepada, Kiko Marquez, Kris Abrigo, Lester Rodriguez, Louis Nichole Santos, Mark Bardinas, Marz Aglipay, Marvin Quizon, Mikhaela Mari, Mimi Salibio, Odang, Rene Bituin, Rene Cuvos, Rob Lucas, Rodnie Pinto, Shalimar Gonzaga, Tokwa Peñaflorida, Toti Cerda, Vik Caido, Vincent de Pio, Vinson Yap, Vladimir Grutas, Yayie Garcia and Zaldy Garra.
