OCTOBER 27, 2022

A new way of life is set to rise at the “City in Sync.”

And such a lifestyle, which may be described as contemporary, holistic, and active, is already evident in the current flurry of activities being spearheaded by leading property firm Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) at the ARCA South development in Taguig City.

This early, ALI has already started to showcase to prospective buyers and investors the quality and kind of life that can be had once the development of the 74-hectare ARCA South has been completed. And this way of living will definitely be one that espouses modern synchronicity, affording one the ease and convenience towards achieving a healthy balance across one’s personal space, family, social groups, and working environment.

Indeed, if the lineup of ongoing and planned activities within the said project were to be an indication of the privileges and indulgences one may enjoy, then ARCA South may soon become one of the most coveted and prestigious addresses in the metro today.

“ARCA South is all about championing synchronicity. Through this development, we hope to be able to put individuals at the core of a vision destination attuned with contemporary lifestyles. While accessibility remains to be the key advantage of this development, ARCA South will also provide every element needed to achieve that well-balanced lifestyle,” ARCA South Project Development Manager Stephen Comia said.

“This mixed-use development will meanwhile see the transformation of a portion of the former FTI Complex into a highly networked business and lifestyle district that will redefine the way people view the urban metro landscape while remaining responsive to the needs of the market,” Comia added.

Myriad of opportunities

Upon its completion, the initial investment of P80-billion ARCA South will present a quality of life with a myriad of opportunities for further growth-best estate practices, diverse retail options, residential developments and an intermodal transport system that will surely make the lives of those people working, visiting or living within ARCA South a breeze.

And as ALI dares to once again set new benchmarks, it has meanwhile given the public a preview of the high life that the ARCA South, touted to become the latest lifestyle district in the City of Taguig, has committed to deliver.

Even as ARCA South is currently under construction, ALI has already been holding several lifestyle activities within the development, thus serving as a testament to the thriving, mobile, and active lifestyle that ARCA South seeks to promote.

“Right now, ARCA South is home to one of the most exciting and interesting weekend markets in all of Metro Manila namely the Agri-Aqua Network International (AANI) farmers market. Every weekend, a portion of the 74-hectare property is transformed into an expansive make shift market that offers the freshest harvest and the highest quality produce that’s sure to satisfy even the most discerning shopper and food connoisseur,” Comia explained.

The highlight of AANI would be the different produce coming from the various regions across the country including Cordillera highlands, Laguna, Palawan and Roxas City among others.

Visitors at the AANI will surely have a grand time shopping for exclusive farm-fresh finds such as wild honey from Laguna and Palawan, potted herbs, flowering orchids, as well as organic vermicomposting fertilizer. At the wet section of the market, one can find mud crabs, Tawilis from Taal, tuna from Mindanao, as well as Norwegian pink salmon. Live free-range chicken is also available.

There is also a bevy of grilled meats on offer and a wide selection of organic and ready-to-eat food from various entrepreneurs and weekend home bakers.

“The AANI market stands out among other weekend haunts because of its exceptional organic selection. Gardeners are likewise guaranteed to have a grand time as AANI has an entire section of the market devoted exclusively to flowers and ornamental plants including anthuriums, ferns, orchids, bromeliads, and ground covers,” said AANI Vice President for Operations Paul Rubia.

“There is something for everyone at the weekend market, from foodies and plant-lovers, to tourists and families looking for an alternative to spending quality time outdoors. The AANI market is open every Saturday and Sunday, from 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Its location, at the heart of ARCA South, makes it a convenient cultural hub for foodies drawn to the rising Taguig center point,” Rubia added.

First mover advantage

Much like this festive weekend market where one is provided with a sea of choices depending on one’s needs and preferences, ARCA South will similarly afford its future residents and investors that perfect investment choice not only because of its key features, amenities, and strategic location, but also due to the quality of lifestyle that it can offer.

Currently, ALI is going full blast with its construction activities at ARCA South, as it is bent to complete the development within its set timeframe, and thus give potential homebuyers and locators a better reason to consider being a part of this latest master planned community.

“ARCA South pledges to carry ALI’s long history of developing large-scale, integrated mixed use communities. All of the lessons learned and expertise gained from developing other existing business districts such as Makati, Bonifacio Global City, Cebu Business Park, Nuvali, among others, are brought to bear on ARCA South,” Comia said.

Being a master planned development, ARCA South does not only comprise of key components that allow for a holistic lifestyle, but also boasts of having the critical infrastructure that makes this project well connected to the main thoroughfares in Metro Manila and Southern Luzon and highly accessible to residents, guests, and tenants.’

For instance, ARCA South will be directly accessible via government infrastructure projects namely Skyway, C5, and C6 roads. The estate will also be adjacent to the South Intermodal Transport System (ITS), which can service an estimated 4,000 buses and about 160,000 commuters daily.

Majority of the provincial commuters are expected to come from Bicol, Laguna, and Cavite, but there will also be routes connecting to as far as Davao. The terminal could further connect passengers coming from the Laguna or Batangas to transport systems such as the future North- South Commuter Railway project, city bus, taxi, and other public utility vehicles serving inner Metro Manila.

Another boost to the accessibility of the ARCA South project will be the awarding to ALI of a crucial public private partnership (PPP) project, the Integrated Transport System (ITS) – South Terminal. DOTC Secretary Joseph Abaya of the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) is looking to issue the notice of award within the month to ALI as being the winning bidder of the PPP project, a move that can significantly complement and benefit residents, guests, and businesses within ARCA South.

This South ITS project will also involve the construction of passenger terminal buildings, arrival and departure bays, public information systems, ticketing and baggage handling facilities, as well as park-ride facilities.

“This well thoroughly connected development, which will be accessible via South Luzon Expressway and Skyway from Alabang, Nuvali, Cavite, Batangas and the RoRo (roll on-roll off) ships from as far south as Mindanao, evokes of complete synergy with the presence of varying residential offerings, commercial developments, office spaces, places of convergence, respite and entertainment hubs,” Comia related.

A gateway to progress, ARCA South is thus well poised to deliver great returns, as it will carry the stamp of excellence and expertise that the ALI brand has been known for.
